There is something truly so special about first birthdays. The tiny personalities, the wide-eyed wonder, and the way these little ones seem to grow right in front of the camera. And this sweet boy’s super fun football themed session? Truly a touchdown!
We headed out to the football field for his big one year portraits, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The turf beneath his little toes, the field goal in his distance, and that sun shining over the field. It all came together to give us the most epic backdrop.
Instead of a cake smash, we kept the focus on everything that makes this age so precious. Sweet baby smiles, curious looks, wobbly steps, and those tiny hands gripping a football almost as big as he is. He lit up the field and melted our hearts with sweet precious little personality. His little giggles echoed across the field, and honestly I think we captured his whole personality in just those sweet in between moments.
First birthdays don’t always need cake to be memorable. Sometimes all you need is a meaningful location, a fun theme, and a little one ready to explore the world. This session was the perfect reminder that storytelling photography is about your baby, your memories, and the season you’re in.
